User Management
User Management in KREDO helps organizations create, maintain, and manage user accounts effectively.
Proper user setup is important before configuring other features in KREDO, as users are required for learning assignments, access control, reporting, and other platform activities.
User Management Scenarios
With Active Directory Integration
If your organization has Active Directory (AD) integration enabled, user details are automatically pulled into KREDO through APIs.
Changes made in your organization's AD, such as:
- Creating users
- Deleting users
- Modifying user roles
are automatically reflected in KREDO.
This keeps user information synchronized without requiring manual updates in KREDO.
Without Active Directory or SSO Integration
If your organization does not use Active Directory (AD) or Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, users must be managed manually in KREDO.
Admins can:
- Create users individually or in bulk.
- Update user details.
- Suspend or activate user accounts.
- Delete user accounts.
- Change user passwords.
- Resend welcome emails.
Custom Fields and User Management
Custom fields created under Settings → Custom Fields are automatically available when creating a user manually.
For bulk user uploads, custom fields must also be added to the downloaded Excel template.
When adding a custom field to the Excel template:
- Add the custom field as a new column after the last existing column.
- Enter the required values for the users.
- Ensure that the column header exactly matches the custom field name configured in KREDO.
Note: Matching the Excel column header with the custom field name is important to avoid upload errors.
