Users
Users are the people who access and use your organization's learning content in KREDO.
KREDO provides multiple ways to manage users. Depending on your organization's setup, users can be synchronized automatically through Active Directory or managed manually by an Admin.
When managing users manually, you can:
- Create users individually
- Create users in bulk
- Update user information
- Activate or suspend users
- Delete users
- Reset user passwords
- Perform supported user-management actions individually or in bulk
Tip: Complete the required user-management tasks to ensure that all users in your organization have the appropriate access to KREDO.
User management options
KREDO provides two primary options for creating and managing user profiles.
User Profile Management
Use User Profile Management to create and manage users individually.
When creating a user profile, you can provide details such as:
- First name
- Last name
- Role
- Username
- Email address
- Phone number
- Other required user information
You can also manage the user's profile after it has been created.

Bulk User Profile Management
Use Bulk User Profile Management when you need to create or update multiple users at once.
Bulk management allows you to add user information using a spreadsheet instead of creating each profile individually.
Important: Review the information carefully before uploading the spreadsheet. Incorrect or incomplete information can affect multiple user profiles at once.

Custom fields
Custom fields created under Settings are available when creating a user manually.
When creating users through bulk upload, custom fields must be added to the Excel spreadsheet as additional columns.
Add each custom field as a new column after the last existing column in the downloaded spreadsheet.
Note: Make sure the custom-field names and values in the spreadsheet match the configuration in KREDO before uploading the file.

Active Directory
If your organization uses Active Directory, user-management tasks can be handled automatically through the configured directory integration.
If Active Directory is not available, Admins can manage users manually using the individual and bulk management options available in KREDO.
User management actions
After users are added to KREDO, Admins can perform supported management actions, including:
- Activate users
- Suspend users
- Delete users
- Reset Password for users
- Update user information
These actions can be performed individually or in bulk where supported.
