- Attach the created video.
The selected video can then be included in the course content.
2. Audit Checklist
Platform: Sentinel
Developed by: KREDO
The Audit Checklist module in Sentinel provides a centralized solution for managing and monitoring store audits across multiple locations. It helps organizations conduct inspections, assign responsibilities, monitor compliance, and track audit performance.
The module supports role-based access, checklist templates, task assignments, analytics, and workflow automation.
2.1 Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a centralized view of audit activities through a card-based task layout.
It displays the following information:
- Pending Checklists
- Overdue Actions
- Scheduled Tasks
- Completed Tasks
- Average Audit Score and performance trends
2.2 User Management
Administrators can manage users, roles, and permissions within Sentinel.
The module supports five roles:
| Role | Responsibilities |
|---|---|
| Admin | Manages users, stores, templates, tasks, analytics, and workflows. Assigns and reassigns audits, creates workflows, and monitors performance metrics. |
| Manager | Monitors store operations, reviews employee performance, approves audits, and manages one or more store locations. |
| Supervisor | Oversees employee tasks at a specific store and monitors progress through submitted reports. |
| Auditor | Performs audits using templates, submits results, and supports compliance monitoring and performance tracking. |
| Employee | Completes assigned audits, follows checklists, updates task status, and contributes to audit completion under manager guidance. |
2.3 Templates
Use Templates to create and manage audit checklist templates.
Templates define the sections, questions, and scoring weights used during audits.
Key capabilities include:
- Create and manage checklist templates.
- Mark templates as Public or Private to control accessibility.
- View template details, including:
- Template name
- Status
- Number of sections
- Number of questions
- Total weight
- Creation date
2.4 Stores
Manage store locations where audits are conducted.
Administrators can:
- Create and update store details.
- Assign managers to stores.
- Bulk upload multiple stores.
- View store code, address, region, status, and associated tasks.
2.5 Geofencing
Geofencing restricts audit task execution to employees who are physically present within the configured radius of a designated store.
Configure Geofencing for a store:
- Open the Audit Checklist module.
- Create or edit a store.
- Configure the Geofence Radius for the store location.
The default radius is 100 meters. Administrators can adjust the radius between 0 and 10,000 meters.
Enable Geofencing for a task:
- Navigate to Tasks → Create Tasks → Advanced.
- Enable Enable Geofencing – Restrict task execution to store location.
- Configure the required Geofence Radius.
The Geofencing option becomes available in the Tasks section when Geofencing is configured for the store.
How Geofencing works
- When an employee accesses an audit task through the mobile application, the system checks the employee's current location.
- If the employee is within the configured radius, the task can be accessed and completed.
- If the employee is outside the radius, a pop-up message asks the employee to move closer to the store before proceeding.
This helps ensure that audits are performed at the designated store location.
2.6 Tasks
Use Tasks to create, assign, and track audit activities across stores.
The module provides options to:
- Create and assign audit tasks to employees.
- Filter, export, and review pending approvals.
- View task name, template, store, assigned users, and task status.
Tasks are organized into two sections:
- Live: Displays active assigned tasks.
- History: Displays completed and past tasks.
If Geofencing is configured for a store, administrators can enable it for tasks through the Advanced section during task creation.
2.7 Available Tasks
Users can access and start their self-assigned audit tasks from the Available Tasks section.
The section displays:
- Task name
- Template
- Number of sections and questions
- Estimated completion time
- Creation date
Some tasks require manager approval before users can begin.
The approval process works as follows:
- Users must submit the task for manager approval.
- After approval, users can proceed with the task.
- If the request is rejected, users can resubmit it for approval.
2.8 Analytics Dashboard
The Analytics Dashboard provides administrators and managers with an overview of audit performance across stores, employees, and templates.
It consolidates audit metrics to help monitor compliance, track completion, and identify areas that require attention.
Key metrics
- Total Tasks: Total number of audit tasks created.
- Completed Tasks: Number of completed audits.
- Average Score: Average audit performance score.
- Overdue Tasks: Number of pending audits that have passed their due dates.

The Compliance Heatmap displays daily compliance scores by location.
It uses visual indicators to identify:
- High-performing stores.
- Stores that require attention.
- Critical compliance issues.
The dashboard also provides a year-to-date regional breakdown.
Template Performance
The Template Performance section provides insights into:
- Audit template usage.
- Average scores.
- Completion rates.
- Question-level performance to identify problematic areas.
2.9 Workflows
Use Workflows to define and manage approval processes and automate audit task activities.
The module includes:
- Creation of Workflows
- Pending Approvals
- History
Workflow capabilities
- Create custom workflows with steps, triggers, and conditions.
- Configure triggers based on task completion or specified conditions.
- Define approval rules that require approval from any approver or all approvers.
- Configure timeout and automatic rejection settings, such as a 24-hour timeout.
- Assign workflow steps dynamically or based on user roles.
Enhancements
3. Auto-Enrollment: OR Conditions Between Multiple Criteria
Applies to: All Assets
Auto-enrollment conditions now display an OR label between each condition under the course auto-enrollment configuration.
Previously, multiple conditions appeared as a single grouped set, making it difficult to distinguish how they were evaluated.
The updated display clarifies that meeting any one of the configured conditions can trigger auto-enrollment.
Navigation: Courses → General → Auto Enrollment
4. Users: New City and Country Filters
The Users page now includes two additional filters:
- Country
- City
Administrators can use these filters to narrow down user records based on location.
5. Proficiency: Moved to the Main Settings Section
The Proficiency option has been moved from Settings → Classroom Settings to the main Settings section.
This change makes the option easier to locate without navigating through Classroom Settings.
6. Category Filter: Added to All Assets and Reports
A Category filter is now available in both the All Assets and Reports sections.
Users can use this filter to narrow down the displayed assets and reports by category.
7. Customize Dashboard: Confirmation Before Applying Changes
A confirmation pop-up has been introduced under Settings → Customize Dashboard.
When applying dashboard changes, administrators can select one of the following options:
- All Groups: Apply the changes across the organization.
- Exclude Groups: Apply the changes while excluding All Groups.
- Cancel: Discard the changes.
The pop-up also includes a note informing administrators that changes may take some time to appear after they are applied.

Two assessment-related improvements have been introduced.
Question Attempts
A new Question Attempts option is available under:
Courses → Assessments → Assessment Configuration
Administrators can configure the number of retry attempts allowed on a question screen before the learner moves to the next screen.
- Set a specific number to limit the retry attempts.
- Set the value to 0 to allow unlimited attempts.
Retake Course
The Assessment Result page now includes a Retake Course button.
After completing an assessment, learners can select this option to retake the assessment directly from the result page.

View Analytics
The View Analytics tab displays total responses and question-level insights, including:
- Response distribution with percentages.
- Ratings and satisfaction levels.
- Skill-based evaluations, such as Planning, Prioritization, and Focus.
- Objective and descriptive responses.
Learner Reports
The Learner Reports tab provides a searchable view of learner submissions.
The report includes:
- Learner name
- Email ID
- Submission date
- Program name
- Approval status
- Learning Path
- Status
The additional Learning Path and Status fields provide better visibility into learner enrollment and current progress or approval status.
Export option
Export functionality is now available in both the View Analytics and Learner Reports tabs.
Users can download the displayed data for offline analysis and reporting.
10. Mobile App: Dynamic Language Loading
The mobile app now supports dynamic language loading, similar to the web application.
When users change the application language, the selected language is applied dynamically.
This provides a consistent localization experience across the web and mobile applications.
11. Reels: Improved Vimeo Toggle Behaviour
The Vimeo toggle behaviour has been updated during Reel creation and editing.
- When an MP4 video is uploaded, the Vimeo toggle is enabled initially.
- During Reel editing, the Vimeo toggle is disabled.
- The toggle remains non-editable during subsequent edits.
This prevents users from switching video sources after uploading and maintains consistency throughout the Reel lifecycle.
12. Courses and Assessments: Background Image Configuration
A new background image icon is available on the course and assessment authoring pages.
Administrators can use this option to configure background images or theme colours for supported templates.
Course background configuration
During course creation, the Images section provides the following options:
- Course Background
- Course Thumbnail (mandatory)
- Course Logo
- Result Background Image
When no course background image is uploaded
The background image icon displays two options:

When a course background image is uploaded
The uploaded image is automatically reflected in the background image icon.
The icon provides the following options:
- Upload: Upload a template background image directly from the system.
- Course Background: Apply the uploaded course background image to the selected templates.

A new Scheduled On field has been added to the Manager section under:
Classroom → Requests from Learners
Managers can view the scheduled date associated with learner classroom requests.

The Leaderboard filtering functionality now supports more flexible filtering conditions.
Previously, filtering was limited to role-based selection.
The updated filters support AND and OR conditions, allowing users to define more specific criteria when filtering leaderboard data.
15. Assessment Report: Added Score Column
The Assessment Report export now includes a Score column.
Navigation: Assessment → General → Reports → Export
When administrators export the Assessment Report, the downloaded Excel file includes the learner's score.
16. Learning Path: Manager Approval for Self-Enrollment
The Self Enrollment Configuration dropdown under Learning Path → General Settings now includes two options:
- Self-Enroll
- Manager Approved
When administrators select Manager Approved, learners can submit enrollment requests for a Learning Path.
Access is granted only after the learner's manager approves the request.
17. Learner Application: Search Across Learning Assets
The learner-side course search filter has been enhanced to support searches across all learning assets.
This improvement makes it easier for learners to discover and access available learning content.
Availability: Web application.
18. Custom Roles: Control Access to Reports
The Custom Roles → Reports section now includes toggle controls for individual report tabs.
Administrators can enable or disable specific report tabs for each custom role.
Only the reports enabled through these toggles are visible to users assigned to that custom role.
