Learning Path Summary Calculation
Learn how the Learning Path Summary calculates learning asset completion and completion level.
The Learning Path Summary provides an overview of learning paths and learner progress, including the number of learning assets, assigned users, and completion level.
Summary Metrics
The Learning Path Summary uses the following metrics:
- Learning Assets – Total number of learning assets included in the learning path.
- Assigned Users – Total number of users assigned to the learning path.
- Completion Level – Percentage of assigned assets completed by the learner.
Completion Level Calculation
The Completion Level indicates how much of the assigned learning path a learner has completed.
Formula
Completion Level (%) = (Total Assets Completed ÷ Total Assets Assigned) × 100
Where:
- Total Assets Completed – Number of learning assets the learner has successfully completed.
- Total Assets Assigned – Total number of learning assets included in the learning path that the learner is expected to complete.
The result is displayed as a percentage.
Example
| Learning Path | Total Assets Assigned | Assets Completed | Completion Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Path A | 10 | 5 | 50% |
| Path B | 8 | 8 | 100% |
| Path C | 6 | 2 | 33% |
For example, if a learner completes 5 out of 10 assigned assets:
(5 ÷ 10) × 100 = 50%
A 100% completion level indicates that the learner has completed all assigned learning assets within the learning path.
