Start a Role Play and Interview Process

Start a Role Play

1. On the Your Roleplays page, select the role-play simulation you want to practice and click Start.
2. Select your preferred language from the Language drop-down list.
3. Click Continue to proceed to the Interview Process page.

Interview Process

The Interview Process page displays the simulation details and learning objectives to help you prepare before starting the simulation.

Review the Simulation Guide

1. Review the role-play title and selected language.
2. Check the simulation status, displayed as Awaiting your start.
3. Review the simulation duration and the number of learning objectives to cover.

Learning Objectives

The simulation evaluates the following skills:

1. Demonstrate active listening and empathy.
2. Provide clear, accurate, and professional responses.
3. Handle customer concerns efficiently and appropriately.
4. Maintain a positive, supportive, and helpful tone.
5. Maintain a smooth and coherent conversation flow.

Start the Simulation

1. Ensure that your microphone is enabled. Headphones are recommended for a better experience.
2. Click Start Simulation to begin the role play.
3. Interact with the AI persona according to the assigned scenario and your role.

After the attempt, a transcript and an individual score for each learning objective are shared with you and your manager.

Participate in the Simulation

When you click Start Simulation, the microphone test window appears. Allow microphone access and ensure your audio is working before you begin speaking.

Simulation with Real AI Avatar

The simulation screen displays the following elements:

• Selected Language: Displays the language selected before starting the simulation.
• Recording: Indicates that the simulation is in progress.
• Timer: Displays the elapsed time and total simulation duration, along with the remaining time.
• AI Avatar: Displays the AI persona participating in the conversation. For example, Voxa.
• Your Turn: Prompts you to start speaking when it is your turn.
• Talk Time: Displays the percentage of conversation time attributed to you and the AI avatar.
• Mic On/Off: Allows you to control your microphone during the simulation.
• Camera On/Off: Allows you to control your camera during the simulation.
• End Simulation: Ends the current simulation.
• Live Transcript: Automatically captures the conversation and displays the transcript during the session. The Listening status indicates that the system is listening for your response.

Complete the Simulation

1. Check that your microphone is enabled and the system can hear you.
2. When prompted, speak clearly and respond to the AI avatar according to the assigned scenario.
3. Monitor the timer and continue the conversation until you complete the simulation or choose to end it.
4. Click End Simulation if you want to end the session before the time expires.

After the attempt, a transcript and an individual score for each learning objective are shared with you and your manager.

End and Submit the Simulation

When you click End Simulation, a confirmation window appears asking whether you want to end the current simulation.

The window displays the following information:

• Elapsed Time: Shows the time spent in the simulation.
• Submission Notice: Informs you that the attempt will be submitted as it stands and cannot be resumed.
• Transcript and Scores: Confirms that the transcript and individual scores for each learning objective will be generated immediately after submission.

To proceed, choose one of the following options:

• Keep going: Closes the confirmation window and allows you to continue the simulation.
• End and submit: Ends the simulation and submits your current attempt for evaluation.
