Question Bank

Learn how to create and manage Question Banks, upload questions using an Excel template, and use Question Banks in assessments.

The Question Bank is a structured repository of single-choice and multiple-choice questions used to create assessments and support learner engagement.

Admins, Managers, Authors, and users with Custom Roles and the appropriate permissions can access and manage the Question Bank.

Creating a Question Bank

  1. From the dashboard, open Menu and select Question Bank.
  2. On the Question Bank page, click + Create New Question Bank.
  3. In the Create Question Bank window, enter the required details:
    • Question Bank Name: Enter a name for the Question Bank.
    • Base Language: Select the primary language for the questions.
    • Choose File: Upload the completed Excel template.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Selecting the Base Language

The Base Language of the Question Bank must match the Base Language of the assessment in which it is used.

  • When creating an assessment, select the same base language as the Question Bank.
  • Only Question Banks with a matching base language appear under Assessment > Advanced.
  • If the languages do not match, the relevant Question Bank will not be available.

For example, if a Question Bank uses Arabic as its base language and an assessment uses English, that Question Bank will not appear for the assessment.

Ensure that the base language matches for both the Question Bank and the assessment.
