Learning Path Summary Calculation

Understand how Learning Path Summary metrics are calculated and how learner completion levels are determined.

The Learning Path Summary provides information about learning paths, including the number of paths created, published, completed, in progress, not started, and in draft status.

Learning Path Summary Chart

The Learning Path Summary is represented using a bar chart with color-coded learner progress statuses:

  • Completed – Blue: Indicates learners who have fully completed the learning path.
  • In Progress – Yellow: Represents learners who have started but not yet completed the learning path.
  • Not Yet Started – Pink: Indicates learners who have been assigned the learning path but have not started it.

Learning Path Completion Level Calculation

The Completion Level indicates the percentage of assigned learning assets a learner has completed within a learning path.

Formula

Completion Level (%) = (Total Assets Completed / Total Assets Assigned) × 100

Explanation

  • Total Assets Completed: Number of learning assets the learner has successfully completed.
  • Total Assets Assigned: Total number of assets included in the learning path that the learner is expected to complete.

The result is expressed as a percentage to indicate the learner's overall progress.

Example Calculation

Learning PathTotal Assets AssignedAssets CompletedCompletion Level
Path A105(5 / 10) × 100 = 50%
Path B88(8 / 8) × 100 = 100%
Path C62(2 / 6) × 100 = 33.33%

A 100% completion level indicates that the learner has completed all assigned assets within the learning path.
