What an Administrator Can Do?

An Administrator in KREDO has certain overarching privileges in comparison to an Author, Manager and Learner. Once an Administrator logs in, he/she is taken to the dashboard as shown. Use the scroll bar to scroll down. Shown highlighted in Red.

This is the view towards the bottom of the page in the dashboard.

In the main menu the other privileges the Administrator has are outlined below (Top to bottom). Shown highlighted in Red.

  1. Dashboard - Displays the total number of active users, the total courses, the total number of groups and the total learning hours data. The statistics of the number of users who logged in on a particular day is seen in the User Activity graph. The Leaderboard displays the learner names and the points scored. The User Logs displays changes made in the course details by the Administrator and other Authors in the platform. Under Recent Discussion, all the discussion threads will be displayed and if you click on any particular discussion, you will be taken to the page with the discussion details. Details shown in the first and second screenshots in this section.

  2. Users - Displays the users in the platform. Options to create users individually and upload in bulk are available here. In addition to this, options to invite users individually and in bulk are also available here.   3. User Groups - Displays the user groups in the platform. Options to create user groups individually and upload in bulk are available here. To know more about how these tasks are performed, access the sub-section Quick Start Guide under the main section Getting Started or the sub-section User Group Management under the main section Administrator.

  4. Courses - Displays the options to define course settings, create courses using different templates and publish courses. To know more about how to define course settings and create courses, access the sub-section Quick Start Guide under the main section Getting Started or access the sub-section Course Settings and Content Creation under the main section Administrator.

  5. Learning Path - Displays options to add learning paths, enable forced navigation and add other relevant learning assets like assignments, including meetings and surveys. To know more about how these tasks are performed, access the sub-section Learning Path under the main section Administrator.

  6. Discussion - Displays options to start a discussion thread, add comments, like a comment, and bookmark a discussion. To know more about how these tasks are performed, access the sub-section Discussion Forum under the main section Administrator.

  7. Reports - Displays the canned reports as well as the custom report options. To know more about how these tasks are performed, access the sub-section Reports under the main section Administrator.

To the right side of the welcome message, there are 6 dots as seen, the first one showing the Click Here button, that takes the Administrator to the Settings page to setup points for starting a discussion and getting 10 likes for that discussion. This option can also be accessed from the main Menu list on the top right by clicking Settings.

Click on the subsequent dots from left to right and the options as shown below appear.

The second dot shows the Click Here button that gives the option to initiate a discussion. This option can also be accessed from the main menu list on the left by clicking Discussion.

The third dot shows the Click Here button that gives the option to define course settings, create and publish courses. This option can also be accessed from the main menu on the left by clicking Courses.

The fourth dot shows the Click Here button that gives the option to add job roles and job levels. This option can also be accessed from the main menu on the left by clicking Discussion.

The fifth dot shows the Click Here button that gives the option to create learning paths. This option can also be accessed from the main menu on the left by clicking Learning Path.

The sixth dot shows the Click Here button that gives the option to view the reports. This option can also be accessed from the main menu on the left by clicking Reports.

The options an Administrator has on the top right corner as as follows from the left to the right. Shown highlighted in Red.

Help - Clicking this icon turns on help and the options on the left side of the menu will have a dot in Red that blinks. All shown highlighted in Red.

Clicking this dot will open the Help Center pertaining to the icon against which the Red dot was clicked. Shown highlighted in Red.

Chat - Clicking this icon opens the chat window where a new conversation can be initiated.

Notification - Clicking this icon opens up the list of notifications which can be viewed and then deleted if required. The number indicates the number of available notifications.

Menu - Clicking this icon gives the in-depth Administrator privileges as shown. To know more about Settings, access the sub-section Settings Overview under the main section Administrator.

Profile and Sign Out - Clicking the alphabet(s) in the circle, gives the first option, which is the basic profile details of the Administrator and the second option ensures the Administrator is logged out of the platform.
