Creating Bulk Users

Admins can perform various user management actions in bulk using an Excel file. These actions include suspending, activating, deleting, resetting passwords, updating usernames, updating email addresses, and resending welcome emails.

Creating Bulk Users Using Excel

Download the Excel Template

The steps to download and prepare the Excel template are the same for all bulk actions.

1. From the Admin Dashboard, select the Users icon in the left panel.
2. The Users page opens.
3. Select Actions to view the available bulk user management actions.
4. Select the required bulk action.
   The panel on the right changes based on the selected action.
5. Select Download Sample Format to download the Excel template.
   KREDO supports the following Excel formats:
   • .XLS
   • .XLSM
   • .XLSX
6. The template is downloaded to the Downloads folder on your local system.
   You can move the file to another location if required.
7. Open the downloaded Excel file to view the available columns.
   The downloaded template does not contain any user data.
8. Enter the required details in the Excel file and save it.

Upload the Excel File

1. In the relevant bulk action panel, select Choose File.
2. Select the completed Excel file.
3. Select the action-specific button displayed in the panel to perform the selected bulk action.

Important Excel Upload Behavior

When uploading an Excel file:

• If the file contains new rows along with previously existing values in the Email/Username column, the new rows are uploaded successfully, and the existing values are overwritten.
• If the file contains new rows along with previously existing values in the Email/Username column, and changes are made to earlier data, the new rows are uploaded successfully and the changes to the existing data are also updated.

Note: Review the Email/Username values and other user details carefully before uploading the file, as the uploaded data can update existing user information.
