Enabling and Disabling Discussion Notifications

You can enable notifications for a discussion to notify participating learners whenever a new comment is added. You can also disable notifications when updates are no longer required.

Enable Discussion Notifications

1. From the Discussions page, open the discussion for which you want to manage notifications.
2. Check the Enable Notification(s) option.
3. If notifications are disabled, select the switch next to Enable Notification(s).
4. Notifications are enabled for the discussion.

Note: When notifications are enabled, learners participating in the discussion receive a notification whenever a new comment is added. They can view these notifications from the Notifications icon.

Disable Discussion Notifications

1. Open the discussion for which you want to disable notifications.
2. Select the switch next to Enable Notification(s).
3. Notifications are disabled for the discussion.

Note: When notifications are disabled, participating learners do not receive notifications when new comments are added to the discussion.
