View Role Play Report
The Attempt Report page provides a detailed overview of role-play performance across attempts. Learners can compare scores, review evaluation criteria, analyze performance trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Access the Attempt Report
- From the Dashboard, open Menu and select Role Play.
- On the Your Roleplays page, locate the completed simulation.
- Click View Report to open the Attempt Report page.
Review Performance Statistics
The report displays the following statistics:
- Scored Attempts: Number of attempts included in the report.
- Average Score: Average score across the scored attempts.
- Best Performance: Highest score achieved across the attempts.
- Avg Filler Words: Average percentage of filler words recorded during the attempts.
- Total Attempts: Total number of attempts made.
Compare Performance Across Attempts
The Criteria Comparison section helps learners evaluate their performance across attempts.
- Latest Score: Score achieved in the most recent attempt.
- Best Score: Highest score achieved across attempts.
- Overall Change: Difference in performance between the latest and earlier attempts, shown as a score change and percentage.
- Average Score: Average score displayed for the criteria comparison.
Use the Stats, Compare, Trend, Attempts, and Tips tabs to explore the available performance information.
Review Evaluation Criteria
The criteria comparison table displays the scores for each evaluation criterion across attempts, along with the average score.
The report uses the following performance levels:
- Poor: 0–3
- Fair: 3–5
- Good: 5–8
- Excellent: 8–10
Strongest Criteria
This section identifies the evaluation criterion with the strongest average performance across attempts.
Needs Improvement
This section highlights the criterion with the lowest average performance to help learners focus on areas requiring improvement.
Review Consistency and Score Trends
- Consistency Index: Indicates how stable the learner's performance is across attempts.
- Score Across Attempts: Displays a comparison of scores across completed attempts.
- Trend Analysis: Helps learners understand whether their performance is improving or declining.
Review Attempt Details
The Attempt Detail section provides individual attempt results, including the attempt number, score, performance status, and date and time.
The available tabs provide additional information:
- Criteria: Displays scores and feedback for each evaluation criterion.
- Speech: Provides speech-related evaluation details.
- Conversation: Displays the conversation from the simulation.
- Insights: Provides observations and recommendations based on performance.
Review the feedback for each criterion to understand which responses met expectations and which require improvement.
Review Key Improvement Areas
The Key Improvement Areas section provides suggestions for improving performance in future simulations. These may include:
- Clarity: Practice speaking in complete sentences with clear articulation.
- Tone: Use appropriate variation and emphasis to communicate confidently.
- Engagement: Provide longer, more detailed responses relevant to the role-play scenario.
Use these recommendations to prepare for subsequent attempts and improve your overall performance.
