Uploading SCORM Packages

Managers can upload SCORM packages created using any eLearning authoring tool, provided the package uses SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004. You can configure course details, associate KREDO points and skills, set attempt limits, and optionally assign a certificate upon completion.

Upload a SCORM Package

1. Navigate to Courses from the KREDO dashboard.
   The Courses page displays the available courses and assessments. If no courses have been created, the message No Course(s) found. appears.
2. Under Create, select Upload SCORM 1.2/2004.
3. In the General Settings section, enter the course Title and Description, then upload the package using the upload icon under SCORM 1.2/2004.
   The title, description, and SCORM package are mandatory.
4. Configure the course details:
   • Duration: Select the duration of the SCORM course.
   • Tags: Enter relevant keywords, separated by commas, to help users find the course.
   • Points: Select the points to associate with the course.
   • Category: Choose the relevant category.
   • Attempts: Set the maximum number of times a learner can attempt the course.
   
   For details about points and categories, refer to the Points and Category sections.
   When a learner reaches the maximum number of attempts, KREDO displays the following message:

   You have reached the maximum number of attempts. Please contact the Admin.

5. Select relevant skills.
   Review the skills listed and select those that apply to the course content.
6. Add a thumbnail.
   The thumbnail is mandatory.
   1. Select the icon in the Thumbnail field.
   2. Browse to the image location and select the image.
   3. Click Open to upload it.
   4. Verify that the selected image appears in the thumbnail field.
   
   The recommended thumbnail size is 250 × 180 pixels. To remove the selected image, click the Delete icon.
7. Configure the certificate (optional).
   The Certificate option is disabled by default.
   1. Enable Certificate to assign a certificate after course completion.
   2. Select the relevant certificate.
   
   To create a new certificate, refer to the certificate creation guide.
   After completing the SCORM course, learners can view their awarded certificates under Certificate → Achievements → My Certificates.
8. Click Create to upload the SCORM package.
9. Monitor the upload progress. KREDO displays a percentage-based upload message, starting with Uploading…1%. After the upload completes, the message Please wait while saving data… appears.
10. Once the process is complete, verify that the newly uploaded SCORM package appears on the Courses page.
